"We considered fair but decided against it."
NEXT MATCH: June 20th, 2015
You may not take OFF gear for a particular stage or put ON gear for a particular stage. All guns (even when not used or loaded at stage start) must be cleared at the end of each stage.
ARMORED EXCEPTION: Armored shooters may alter the configuration of their rifle from stage to stage as long as they carry everything they're going to use throughout the match through all the stages. Example: Putting a bipod on for 200 yards and taking it off for Stage 4 but retaining the bipod on their person throughout the entire match.
All other categories example: If you're wearing a pistol and a pistol belt, it stays on for all 4 stages even if the stage doesn't require it. This includes the pistol itself. Seating an empty magazine to protect the gun is wise.
The goal of this match is to provide shooters of all levels the ability to leverage and practice practical and realistic firearms handling and shooting in a physically dynamic environment. Please keep in mind that this match is relatively advanced and physically demanding so if you're a true beginner there may be other first steps that would benefit you before your first match. Feel free to email with questions.
We're a friendly, no ego group of responsible firearms owners who leverage this venue by running a monthly match (and sometimes special events) with an emphasis on physical & mental challenges normally not found anywhere else.
Above all, we want everyone to enjoy themselves, build camaraderie and improve themselves and inspire others to do the same.
